SHE and Security Manager
SHE Management Activities for the whole site:
- Applies AZ SHE policy guidelines, procedures and work practices. Applies local legislation. All to promote the Site SHE program
- Establish and improve site SHE management system to ensure compliance.
- Understands, identifies, assess, manages and reviews site SHE issues and risks against the SHE management system.
- Assist line managers in conducting investigations of injuries/incidents that do or could involve actual or potential liability.
- Acts as a technical owner of a specific area within the Safety, Health and Environment function with a deep understanding of processes and equipment employed.
- Leads and supports each function or stakeholders to establish and utilize the SHE Risk Management system across the site to improve SHE performance.
- Drives continuous improvement and maintains “license to operate “through a thorough identification of the SHE issues faced by the site.
- Organizes and carries out trouble shooting activities to resolve SHE problems.
- Supports to cultivate a SHE culture of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate leadership in SHE.
- Provides technical support to multiple functions on a day-to-day basis ensuring adequate SHE supervision, instruction and regulatory training is provided.
- Coordinates SHE related meetings periodically and manages all stakeholders to take follow up actions.
- Coordinates, organizes and participates in internal SHE audits and inspections.
- Issues regular reports of site SHE performance to Global SHE and relevant local authorities.
- Keep records for employee injuries and occupational illness
- Plan and assist in conducting safety training classes and/or first aid instruction for line managers and craft personnel.
- Coordinate between fire fighters and first aiders in case or emergency.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors’ compliance of the plant or their own SHE programs (as approved contractually).
- Maintain the adequate PPE requirements with its proper stock.
- Align with the global SHE in all related Global/regional SHE projects.
Site sustainability management
- Assess the work environment and document the results in order to eliminate or control hazards, which could contribute to, or result in an occupational illness.
- Arrange and contact the governmental authorities in order to cover the required regular inspection, prepare the required documents.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering Manager in industrial waste water treatment plant (WWTP), monitor and follow-up the process control of the WWTP.
- Other activities within the parameters of the job where responsibility and accountability of this position lies.
Security Activities
- Applies AZ security policy guidelines, procedures and work practices. Applies local legislation. All to promote the Site security program
- Manage security staff performance and monitor implementation of their duties as required.
- Make sure that security staff is well trained in industrial security.
Budget and Cost Control
- Budget Planning and Cost Control System.
- Evaluate and prioritize SHE expense items and make annual SHE budget.
Preferred Education: Engineering background, pharmaceutical background, 5-7 years experiences
