Project Overview:
In this Master Thesis project, you will contribute to the cutting-edge development of our newtissue slice platform. This platform is designed in line with the 3Rs principles (Refine, Reduce, Replace), helping to reduce animal use, shorten research timelines, and bridge the gap between cell and animal studies. The platform includes several tissue types as well as several modalities.
Your mission in this Thesis project is tofurtherdevelop this new platform by focusing on two key objectives:
Optimizing Substance Delivery & Cell Uptake: Explore and evaluate new methods for applying substances to tissue slices to enhance delivery efficiency and cellular uptake.
Expanding Downstream Analysis: Develop and broaden the techniques used to assess the effectiveness of these delivery optimizations, enabling more comprehensive analysis and better outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
Ongoing studies on Master level.
Desirable Requirements:
Background in molecular biology, histology and/or animal work.
Experience of lab work.
