Introduction to Role:
Join our dynamic Operations Data Office team as a Senior Project Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing improved data management practices. This position is integral to our Ops 2025 and Ops 2030 strategic plans. You will be responsible for overseeing the business project management tasks for the One Master Data Management initiative. We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in executing projects within the global pharmaceutical industry and guiding cross-functional teams across various regions and global departments.
Accountabilities:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will ensure projects are delivered within timeframes and budgets. Your responsibilities will include establishing project plans, overseeing daily management of project details, maintaining relationships with key business stakeholders, and communicating effectively about project implications. You will also be responsible for creating and guiding project teams, keeping all project-related documentation up-to-date, detecting and overseeing potential issues related to quality and compliance, setting accurate expectations for the Steering Committee, and ensuring seamless handover to maintain operational efficacy post-project.
Essential Skills/Experience:
• Business Programme/Project Management experience in global project teams and delivering change.
• Theoretical & practical knowledge of project management life cycle with proven on time delivery.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, budget, quality standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and project closure.
• Proven ability to gather user requirements and ensure that project scope and objectives align with the needs of stakeholders.
• Experience of preparing communications materials as part of project communications and change plans execution.
• Experience of working in cross-functional teams from across multiple countries & geographies and manage cultural differences sensitively.
• Ability to effectively partner with IT Project Manager counterparts and managing delivery of external partners.
• Able to operate independently and make sound business decisions with limited information available.
• Candidates must be willing and manage to work hours aligned to different time zones such as US, Europe, and India time zones.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Educated to degree level in a scientific, engineering or business discipline.
• Operating within an international consulting framework.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
