SAP ABAP Consultant
The candidate should possess proven experience in the area of SAP ABAP and Core Functional Area (MM, SD, FI, QM, PM, PP) in Maintenance operations and implementation projects alike.
The candidate should have proven expertise in trouble shooting and Provide quick solution for SAP landscapes systems.
Role and Responsibilities
Would be expected to work as part of team in charge of maintenance & support (Incident & Problem Management) and new functionality (development) of the internal SAP system for AZ.
Should be capable of writing Functional Design, Technical Design and Testing documents.
Should be capable of working together with Technical Lead Consultant.
Would be expected to optimize the application/ SAP modules, provide pro-active measurements and be critical towards issues and problems.
Would be expected to initiate changes linked to current/ new roll out of SAP Support Packages & Enhancement Packs together with Lead Consultant.
Would be expected to customize and test based on Functional Design and Technical Design documents for Changes and/ or Problems.
Our SAP System landscape consists of: ECC 6.0 EHP8, PI, BW,LSCV,3rd party systems.

ABAP Programming Best Practices
ABAP Object-Oriented & Classical Programming
Web Dynpro ABAP
Business Server Pages (BSP)
Modification concepts (Enhancement points/BADI/BAPIS/User exits/BTE)
SAP Integration (IDOC/PI-proxy/BDOC/Other)
Forms (Adobe Interactive Forms/Smart forms/SAP Scripts)•
Workflow ABAP
HTML5/JavaScript (SAPUI5)
Good understanding of the Solution Manager CHARM process will be an added advantage
Commit to deliver quality and have a thorough approach
Exposure to Run SAP (Solution Manager) methodologies.
Should be able to guide and mentor junior members of the team.
Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
- S4 Experience - Core Data Services, Flexible WorkFlow, Restful Application Programming model, ABAP Cloud.
