What you’ll do
We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for aCleaner to join our Facilities Services team at our North Ryde manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining our high hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace that directly impacts the production of life-changing medicines.

Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you’llbe responsible for:
Cleaning graded and ungraded areas following strict pharmaceutical compliance and safety standards.
Operating powered cleaning machinery and steam/pressure washers.
Collecting and disposing of waste and recyclables, adhering to our sustainability initiatives.
Maintaining office areas toilets and manufacturing areas.
Following security, incident, and accident reporting procedures.
Demonstrating initiative, resilience, and adaptability to meet evolving business needs.
Effective communicator comfortable with cleaning logbooks.
Essential for the role
Previous cleaning experience.
Physically fit, capable of handling repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, and operating equipment.
Comfortable with computers and mobile devices.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and initiative—someone who gets on with the job and takes responsibility.
Team player with strong communication skills—willing to ask questions, seek help when needed, and support colleagues.
Resilience—able to handle different work environments and adapt to challenges.
Willingness to learn and develop—opportunities to advance into C Grade and Sterile Cleaning roles.
Commitment to a long-term career in Pharmaceuticals or looking to start in this industry.
Desirable for the role
Previous cleaning experience in a pharmaceutical, hospital or highly regulated environment.
Experience using cleaning equipment such as ride-on machines, pressure washers, and chemical cleaners.
Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance in cleaning.
