QC Lab Planner
This is what you will do:
The QC Planning Lead is responsible for coordinating scheduling for internal and external supply demands across all the QC ADMF teams, ensuring that laboratories are proactive in their scheduling and capacity planning to meet Medium-Term Planning (MTP) demands efficiently. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to optimize lab operations and resource utilization.
You will be responsible for:
- Develop and manage detailed scheduling plans to align with internal and external supply chain demands using lean labs principles.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize testing turnaround times.
- Collaborate with Quality Control teams to ensure resource capacity is optimized and aligns with MTP requirements.
- Monitor laboratory workload and adjust schedules as needed
- Attend all laboratory, manufacturing, planning tiers to ensure full visibility of testing requirements and priorities. Incorporate non-testing, enabling activities in the schedule, including project work, investigation/issue management, lab investigations, ad hoc testing, training etc.
- Collaborate with QC teams to ensure all priorities are identified and captured in the QC schedule and escalate potential issues/risks through tiered accountability process.
- Coordinate with laboratory managers to ensure adequate supplies, equipment, and personnel are assigned to support testing schedules.
- Devise and maintain performance reporting KPIs e.g. adherence to schedule to senior management monthly and/or as requested by the head of QC.
You will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in science or a related field.
- Prior experience in laboratory scheduling or project management.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to accurately record and document laboratory activities.
- Ability to work independently, across teams/departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant analytical software.
