Job Title: Lead DevOps

Career Level - D2

Introduction to Role:
We are seeking a Lead DevOps to own end-to-end Demand and Project Management. This involves partnering with the business to understand and prioritize business demands based on business value. You will manage the delivery of BAU and ensure KPIs are met, support the Platform Technical Lead with the status of delivery and escalations, and identify business process improvements for products or services. You will also be responsible for line management of people with check-ins, individual development plans, and career paths. 

Accountabilities:
As a Lead DevOps, you will manage and mitigate risks in delivery, both from work and people perspective. You will be expected to maintain a high-level view of the project while being hands-on and detail-oriented when necessary. 

Essential Skills/Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should possess most of the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in managing and delivering projects.
- Ability to build strategic relationships, manage stakeholder and effective communication.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to operate with little supervision.
- Proficiency in understanding and following processes methodically.
- Proactive self-starter with a strong focus on delivery.
- Experience in setting long-term strategic directions.
- Familiarity with technology and platforms.
- Outcome-focused mindset, taking personal responsibility for delivering results while embracing change.
- ITIL Knowledge on Change, incident, and problem management. Must be strong in interpersonal communication.
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience of delivery of application support and maintenance- .net, Java and COTS applications
- Knowledge of SAP data in context of Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing & Logistics.
- Project Management Certification.
- Domain knowledge of life sciences/pharmaceuticals.
