Associate Director, Omnichannel Strategy & Operations Lead

The Associate Director, Omnichannel Strategy at Alexion plays a critical role in providing engagement planning expertise to create meaningful customer experiences for HCPs, patients, and caregivers. The individual will be responsible for owning the business partnership for their assigned business unit to deliver data-driven engagement strategies and tactics to their brand partners. This role involves being the subject matter expert across three main omnichannel capabilities for an assigned business unit: digital ecosystem design, omnichannel operations, and insights generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing subject matter expertise around digital ecosystem design, including best practices around paid media, social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and website design.
  • Staying up to date on the evolving digital marketing landscape, including data/privacy regulations, technology advancements, and platform changes.
  • Partnering with the marketing teams to define business rules to deploy omnichannel campaigns.
  • Partnering with IT and agency partners to ensure execution of campaigns.
  • Reporting on digital performance and deriving actionable insights and recommendations for assigned marketing teams.
  • Driving a new go-to-market model by designing pilots and championing new data and technological innovations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing tactics, including paid media, social media, SEO/SEM, and the technology platforms that enable them.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proven ability to communicate new ideas to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Robust analytical skills to evaluate omnichannel performance and identify the key insights that will yield actionable improvements.
  • Track record of successfully delivering initiatives on time and on budget with proven customer engagement and business results.
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.

Preferences:

  • Pharmaceutical experience.
  • Rare disease experience.
