The Science & Enabling Units IT is AZ’s global IT capability function supporting key business areas operating out of sites across the US, UK, Sweden, India & Mexico.

GBS Meetings and Events service is focused on creating an enterprise-wide approach to meetings management logistics for all non-field led HCP and internal meetings, to facilitate end-to-end management of key planning milestones, as well as oversight for execution, compliance, and financial processes. To meet the objective, GME service team is to provide in-house delivery for registration websites, meeting apps, reporting, and the use of virtual cards.

The Reporting Specialist will design and run the service performance dashboard that supports key decision-making and drives improvement for the GME service. This role has the responsibility to manage the day-to-day reporting activities (creating/generating the reports, ad-hoc report) to ensure the service is delivering on the effective and efficiency objectives and collaborating with the GME Assistant manager.

Accountabilities

  • Analyze and manage all reporting requirements to support both tactical and strategic decisions for service execution, customer experience, compliance, quality control, and operational optimization.
  • Assess, prioritize, and communicate future reporting needs, functions, and strategies.
  • Investigate and fix reporting issues and problems.
  • Generate and maintain control documentation of reporting procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Configure standard system reports, as well as customized reports as required.
  • Pull and analyze relevant information from different sources including SAP, Concur, Cvent.
  • Analyze reports and trends and based on findings, prepare and communicate results and recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy of all reported data by continually reviewing and analyzing current sources, processes, and systems functions.
  • Experience working in a globally distributed team.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Experience with meetings and events industry technology (CVENT)
  • Strong knowledge in MSSQL (T-SQL) and Power BI, added advantage (Tableau) and visualization skills

- MSBI Certification - “PowerBI Data Analyst”

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 6 years of experience in development using any reporting tool with ETL knowledge
  • Good communication skills in both verbal and written English

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Experience in meetings & events technology (Cvent, StarCite) is beneficial
  • Meeting management and/or Travel industry experience
  • Experience in shared services and working with 3rd party providers
