Comparator Program and Data Specialist

As a Comparator Program and Data Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of managing comparator orders in SAP, serving as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders. You'll coordinate a variety of activities, from account and order management to communication and documentation across contracted vendors, AR/Finance, and distribution teams. Your role will also support the Americas Supply Chain department, ensuring seamless operations and contributing to life-changing medicines.
Accountabilities:
- Manage customer enquiries and act as the first point of contact for all customer communications through email and other channels.
- Monitor and process requests received through the comparator shared mailbox, providing timely triage, action, and follow-up on all inquiries and documentation.
- Support and coordinate cross-functional internal reviews of new comparator requests ensuring all account and contract eligibility checks are performed with Legal, Finance, and management per established SOPs.
- Manage and consolidate forecasts for comparator products, facilitating effective planning with relevant internal teams.
- Handle the full order management process in SAP, including order entry, validation, order maintenance, shipping coordination, and inventory/batch reservation with Alexion Distribution.
- Oversee release, shipping, and invoicing operations, including Proforma invoice creation and communication with Distribution Specialists, vendors, and warehouse contacts.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of customer accounts.
- Track payment status, initiate shipments upon payment receipt, and keep all partners informed at every step.
- Manage stock allocation and distribution to meet contract and customer requirements in coordination with Distribution Specialists and warehouse teams.
- Maintain, review, and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support electronic data interchange (EDI) tasks, including the identification and resolution of EDI-related errors to ensure uninterrupted order flow.
- Act as the liaison between suppliers and distributors to enable successful EDI operations, account creation, and maintenance.
- Take ownership of the maintenance, review, and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the EDI process.
- Support the development, maintenance, and monitoring of US Supply Chain benchmarks and departmental metrics, employing business data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Assist with customer master data maintenance and data clean-up activities by conducting quality checks and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of master data records.
- Provide support in developing reports to meet compliance, operational, and automation requirements. Supervise the management of Customer Operations Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots.
- Take an active role in identifying and assessing opportunities to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and implement standard methodologies within supply chain operations.
- Actively contribute to Supply Chain projects and initiatives.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- 3 years customer relations and within supply chain
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Adaptability, multitasking, and proactive approach to challenges.
- Own and update SOP documentation and compliance records.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a sharp attention to accuracy, detail, and compliance.
- Proven record of strong performance and consistent achievement of objectives.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage external vendor relationships.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Prior SAP experience at an intermediate to advanced level is an advantage.
