Accountabilities
The Strategy & Operational Excellence (S&OE) team is the backbone of Global Procurement, supporting the delivery of our vision and strategic plan to become a best-in-class function. We drive excellence in a high-performance culture that puts people and patients at the heart of everything. As a Business Process Owner in S&OE, you will own and oversee the development, implementation, and refinement of the Category Management process to ensure efficient, effective, and transparent ways of working. You will use your expertise to drive standardization across Global Procurement and ensure that we strike the right balance between risk mitigation, simplification, and speed.
Category Management is integral to the strategic impact of Global Procurement, leveraging commercial excellence to drive positive business outcomes and achieve long-term success. You will define the strategic vision for this process leveraging external insights and benchmarks to inform your approach. A key aspect is embedding robust risk management practices and ensuring alignment with our corporate sustainability goals and targets.
Lean and Digital are critical aspects to us becoming more agile and efficient as a function and therefore play a key role in the strategic direction of our processes. You will need to understand our Lean Strategy and Digital Strategy and partner closely with these SMEs to ensure alignment and collaborate in defining the future direction of these strategies to meet business process needs. You will establish and lead a process network to drive process maturity and continuous improvement. You will work to identify and act upon technological enhancements to drive simplification and speed.
You will also need to collaborate with other BPOs and key stakeholders within Global Procurement and across functional boundaries (e.g., Global Financial Services), to ensure alignment across business processes and objectives.

But that doesn't mean we're not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world.
