Thesis work description:  

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to undertake a thesis project focused on the validation of an analytical method for detecting organic impurities in Candesartan. The project will utilize Method Validation Manager, a module of the Fusion QbD software, to explore its capabilities, advantages, and limitations.   

Key Objectives: 

  • Validate the analytical method for Candesartan organic impurities. 
  • Gain practical experience with Method Validation Manager (MVM). 
  • Analyze the pros and cons of using MVM in the context of late-phase drug development. 
  • Determine the suitability of applying MVM in future projects. 

Structure:  

  • Credits: 45-60 (scope can be adjusted) 

Essential Requirements: 

  • Ongoing master’s studies within Chemistry or equivalent. 
  • Analytical chemistry advanced level 
  • Design of Experiments 
  • Data analysis 
  • Report writing and basic analytical lab skills
