Master Data Maintenance Operations – Axial

Location : Mexico ( Hybrid position)

Fixed-Term Role for a Specific Project

Job Purpose: To coordinate and ensure the maintenance of master data for the data objects within the scope of Axial, for example: Materials, Customers, Suppliers, Batches, Production lines, Maintenance teams, etc.

Key Challenges:

Analytics Challenges

  • Serve as the primary contact for analytics users interacting with the Axial program, ensuring their inquiries and needs are efficiently addressed.
  • Assist in managing the deployment of Axial analytics and AI. Responsibilities include the maintenance and migration of users, preventing metric duplication, deprecating outdated analytics, and communicating the project roadmap effectively.
  • Collaborate with users to assist in identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during the deployment and use of analytics.
  • Assist in the local design reviews to ensure that analytics solutions meet user requirements and provide a satisfactory user experience.
  • Work closely with analytics users across the site to facilitate and support the testing of analytics, ensuring they are functional and aligned with user expectations.

Data Challenges

  • Ensure the integrity and management of Operation information for each existing flow inside and outside of Mexico.
  • Interaction with the global team on new process developments and field definitions to be used.
  • Support strategy for information download and data cleanup.
  • Ensure the continuous flow of operations towards day 1.
  • Information capture and table connection.
  • Creation of dashboards to ensure data accuracy.

Principal Accountabilities:

Analytics Accountabilities

- Providing analytics users with a single point of contact into the Axial program.

- Ensuring that the deployment of Axial analytics and AI is well managed: users are migrated; metrics are not duplicated; old analytics are deprecated; the roadmap well understood. Assisting with issue resolution.

- Coordinating and delivering local design reviews to ensure that analytics meet user requirements and the UX is acceptable.

- Working with analytics users from across the site to facilitate testing of analytics.

Data Accountabilities

- Support the Site Delivery & Deployment Lead in the delivery of the Axial project

- Communicate regularly with the core data team

- Understand and communicate the data migration life-cycle processes

- Co-ordinate data cleansing/purging activities

- Co-ordinate data mapping

- Ensure extraction requirements are clearly communicated and executed

- Prepare tools for data collection and verification

- Develop tools for local data ETL (inc policies for manual loading as appropriate)

- Test data migration with the core team

- Clearly communicate and manage data frost/freeze

- Synchronise static/dynamic/manual data load activities with the core team

- Ensure all data verification steps are completed

- Manage any “day in life”/pre-prod data activities

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Analytics

Ops Analytics

Data and analytics architecture

Business analysis (requirements gathering)

Data

Good understanding of site data

Experience of managing people

Good communication skills

Working knowledge of cGMP /compliance

Working knowledge of the local business operations

Other requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in Operations data.
  • Advanced English.
