Our Primary Care GP Sales Representatives play a pivotal role in our journey to growth. We have 12 month contract, part-time (3 days/week) opportunity available for a Sales Representative based in Adelaide.

What you’ll do 

As a Professional Representative, you will promote key brands and engage primary care healthcare professionals within your territory to support positive treatment outcomes for patients. You will be looking after the respiratory portfolio and work with your team to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in the territory. You will:

  • Follow a structured selling process to understand the needs of the customer; demonstrate active listening, act on feedback, deliver personalised messaging and close with actions

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan; analyse sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business outcomes and deliver on brand strategy

  • Make smart data-driven decisions by utilizing all digital resources and tools available

  • Work as part of a high-performing and collaborative team to achieve and exceed sales targets and performance objectives

  • Build long-term relationships through your genuine passion for the positive impacts these products have on patient’s health

  • Complete administrative requirements and work within a set promotional budget accurately and within a timely manner

Essential for the role 

  • Previous experience and proven success in a sales role or territory/account manager role

  • Exceptional selling skills, ambition and drive for results

  • Ability to build strong external and internal relationships through effective communication, influencing and collaborative networking skills

  • Genuine interest in the pharmaceutical industry together with a passion for making a difference

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills and proven project/team/cross-functional leadership

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to self-manage

  • Ability and willingness to adapt digital solutions, utilise different digital channels, technology and tools to engage with customers

  • Resilience, tenacity and a growth mindset

Desirable for the role 

  • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical sales role

  • Completed Medicines Australia
