Location: Groot-Bijgaarden, Brussels, Belgium

Introduction to role:

Join us in our mission to redefine cancer treatment and improve the patient experience. As a Medical Affairs Manager, you will demonstrate scientific value by partnering with internal and external stakeholders, understanding and anticipating their needs, and translating them proactively into actions. You will support the planning and delivery of all medical affairs initiatives in specific brands to support the local objectives. This role is a part of our Oncology Business Unit, where we encourage brave communication and active listening.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for integrated medical affairs plan and associated budget, launch and prelaunch activities, life cycle management of new & growth products, and ensuring scientific and medical accuracy of outgoing materials, research papers, and other reports. You will also develop professional relationships with HCPs/KEEs, professional societies, and patient organisations. Your role will involve coordinating and conducting medical education, scientific exchange, and advisory board meetings.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Professional experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry, preferentially as MSL, MAM, Medical Advisor or within Medical Affairs
  • Experience in oncology will be a plus
  • University degree in a scientific field, such as MD or PhD
  • Knowledge of the Pharma and Belgian healthcare environment
  • Communicative competence and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English - a must
  • Proficiency in Dutch or French - a must
  • Experience in collaborating closely with healthcare professionals
