Lead Training area to work closely with Business Units (Diabetes, Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolics, Respiratory & Immunology, Oncology and Rare Diseases), as well as with Commercial and Access areas.
Develop, deploy and manage strategic and tactical plans, considering business needs aligned with company strategic plan, assuring connection with global and regional guidelines and initiatives.
Drive the agenda regarding capabilities of field force teams providing best in class solutions
Structure development plans to field force teams to generate a competitive advantage, considering the market dynamics and trends, as digital.
Actively seek for synergies with Commercial Operations areas to leverage area performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Training team composed by managers and ensure the entire team performs to deliver the targets and support AstraZeneca to reach the objectives, with their key individual responsibilities.

  • Interface with key stakeholders across AstraZeneca to gain insight into the strategic priorities of the organization and positively impact the portfolio through strong training plans.

  • Collaborate with region and International teams to understand new scenarios and share best-practices

  • Develop and improve processes to capture and communicate Training metrics and dashboards to internal key stakeholders, allowing the organization to measure performance through KPIs.

  • Delivery reports, tools and information to measure field force performance regarding Training programs.

  • Provide tailored programs for all Business areas keeping the organizational vision.

  • Budget area management

  • Keep in depth knowledge regarding market training trends and best practices

Requirements:

Professional Skills

  • Demonstrated success in training roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • Proven track record of executing complex strategic plans and driving organizational change.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Able to both lead and work collaboratively in teams and support all levels of a large and complex enterprise.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.

  • Able to gain trust with leaders across multiple layers in the organization.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building at all levels of the organization.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and possessing a strong sense of urgency.

  • Proven experience in successfully managing multifaceted projects, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within established timelines.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

  • Strong problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify process issues and drive improvement

Analytical Skills

  • Exceptional analytical capabilities with a keen ability to interpret market data and derive actionable insights.

  • Decisive, with a capacity to make informed decisions based on meticulous analysis.
