What you’ll do
As a Medical Therapeutic Area Lead under our Medical Team, you will be a supervisor a group of Medical Science Liaison and Therapeutic Area Medical Partner. Works with therapeutic brand leaders to develop national strategies for healthcare thought leaders. Responsible for coordinating Medical Liaison activities with sales group.
Leads team of Medical Science Liaisons and Therapeutic Area Medical Partner
Develop and drive innovative collaboration with the in internal and external partnership.
Building Medical Science Liaisons capabilities and ensure they deliver an excellent capabilities.
Serves as a member of the assigned Therapeutic Area Core Team and leads initiatives that impact national strategies for a specific therapeutic area.
Serves as a member of the Extended Leadership Team and leads initiatives that impact a specific Therapeutic Area and cross-Therapeutic Areas
Works with sales leaders to coordinate Medical Liaison activities and optimize use of resources.
Integrates scientific and medical knowledge from key opinion leaders, brand teams and literature to identify and forecast trends that might impact AZ business across brands.
Essential:
Advanced degree in Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine or equivalent
6 – 8 years’ experience as a Medical Liaison in the pharmaceutical industry
Strong leadership capabilities
Desirable:
Doctorate in Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine or equivalent.
Established track record of basic or clinical research.
Demonstrated expertise in the Medical Education process.
