The Product Engineering organization consists of several self-organized/managed cross-functional teams with the people and skills needed to deliver our innovative digital products and solutions to patients and healthcare providers participating in clinical trials around the world. We are working with agile methodology delivering a new release of the software product with program increments every quarter.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Software Test Architect, you will:

• Define and Lead Testing Strategy:
  Develop and own the end-to-end testing strategy for cloud-native applications, addressing efficiency, quality, developer experience, and automation.

• Implement Technical Testing Capabilities:
  Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure testing frameworks and tools that support a wide range of testing types, including:

• Functional Testing

• Non-Functional Testing

• Performance Testing

• Unit Testing

• Integration Testing

• Regression Testing

• Automation First Approach:
  Drive automation across all testing processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure Compliance in a Regulated Environment:
  Develop testing solutions that adhere to regulatory standards such as:

• GxP (Good Clinical Practice)

• Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)

• HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)

• Other relevant regulatory frameworks.

• Collaborate Across Teams:
  Partner closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project requirements and business goals. Advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance.

• Optimize Developer Experience:
  Enhance the developer experience by providing seamless and efficient testing processes, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Test Architect or similar role, with a focus on cloud-native application testing.

• Expertise in designing and implementing testing frameworks and strategies for both frontend and backend systems.

• Strong knowledge of test tools and frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency in a variety of testing types, including functional, non-functional, performance, and integration testing.

• Strong programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Cloud platform experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong experience working with and understanding both product requirements and test traceability to these requirements.

• Fluency in English is required

Desired Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience in regulated environments, with knowledge of GxP, SaMD, HIPAA, or equivalent standards.

• Knowledge or experience with AI/ML testing frameworks.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as Grafana K6, Gatling, or similar.

Location
This role is based in Gothenburg, with an on-site commitment of three days a week
