Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Data Analyst within Global Supply Chain and Strategy, Network Strategy, BCP team.  Business continuity management and developing a robust approach to achieve supply chain resilience is an integral part of Network strategy of the future.  The business continuity management team is responsible for leading a formal program that ensures that AZ supply chain is protected from the impact of a radical event. This involves collaboration with a multi-functional team of Senior leaders and Supply chain SMEs across Global Operations, Therapeutic Area teams, Brand Leads, and key members of the Global Supply teams to develop a robust business continuity plan for our priority products.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for

- Supporting the Business Continuity management process, overseeing a wide range of data driven analytics to enable simplification and effective execution of the Business Continuity management.

- Playing a key role in defining and building key capabilities that will enhance data driven insights, enable delivery of an agile BCP process and drive a culture of analytical excellence within the BCP community.

- Managing and maintaining supply chain data required for Product Business continuity Plans and maintaining to a high standard all process and system documentation.

- System owner of the Digital platform.

- Ensuring the evolution of BC digital platform, supporting collaborators with defining user requirements/enhancements to ensure continuous improvement.

- Partnership with business process owners, data analytic teams, Therapeutic Area teams, Operations IT, and other supply chain Domain Experts to enable a digitalized approach to Business continuity management fit for the future.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Business or Engineering or equivalent experience
Extensive work experience in Data analytics. Pharma experience useful not crucial.
Important to have prior experience in Business continuity and risk management.
Experience of identification and implementation of innovative technology solutions.
Ability to collect, interpret and analyse data from several sources with strong competency to translate information into insights by using right skills, broad collaborator network and applications such as Excel, PBI, PowerPoint, Business Objects and QlikView.
Rational and analytical thinking through logical problem solving and decision making.
Awareness of developments in the technology in relation risk management and Business continuity.
Adept at working multi-functionally in a collaborative manner and able to engage with and influence a wide spectrum of partners.

Desirable

Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context.
Experience with supply chain network modelling and visualization tools – specifically Llamasoft SCG/DG.
Ability to grasp and understand concepts at strategic level and translate them into practical solutions to drive supply chain performance.
Expereince in a previous Pharma business environment and operations challenges/ constraints.
