Senior Manager, IT Digital Quality Systems Lead

This is what you will do:

As the IT Digital Quality System Business Partner, you will serve as the main liaison between the Quality Systems team and various business units within our organization. You will be responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into Quality Technology requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of reliable and high-quality digital solutions. This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, eye for business, and good communication skills to facilitate collaboration and alignment between IT and business collaborators.

You will be responsible for:

Business Partnership and Development

• Contribute to and implement a comprehensive quality Technology strategy for digital systems, aligning it with the organization's overall IT strategy and business objectives.
• Collaborate with business units to understand their digital system requirements and quality expectations. Translate business needs into clear and actionable quality delivery plans.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to business units on Technology best practices, industry standards, and methodologies to ensure the successful implementation of digital projects
• Actively participate in project planning and scoping discussions, representing the quality assurance perspective and identifying potential quality-related Technology risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with business and IT teams to develop comprehensive test strategies that align with project goals, user needs, and overall quality objectives
• Test Execution Oversight: Monitor and track digital quality activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that test plans are performed effectively and deviations are appropriately addressed
• Facilitate effective communication between business units and the IT Technology team, keeping partners informed about testing progress, results, and any quality-related issues
• Find opportunities for process improvement using existing or new Technologies and advocate for the implementation of standard methodologies and automation where applicable
• Ensure that digital systems adhere to industry standards, compliance requirements, and relevant regulations through collaboration with compliance teams
• Work with business users during UAT to validate that digital solutions meet business requirements and user expectations
• Develop and build relationships with external technology vendors and partners to ensure optimal performance and service delivery.

Leadership

• Builds social networks that enable knowledge and information flow. Shares knowledge regarding strategy, market and industry trends, developments, experience and good practice
• Lead multi-functional complex systems applications projects
• Ensure appropriate IT multi-functional involvement in project teams to build ownership for solutions.
• Support the business to increase utilisation of current Digital solutions.
• Participation in key global IT projects to ensure Quality functions are represented
• Educate end-users on Quality applications increase the use and efficiency of Quality IT Capabilities.
• Coordinate with the various resources to ensure a timely implementation. Delivering progress report to the business unit and IT management teams.

You will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
• Experience (5+ years) in quality assurance, business analysis, or project management within the IT domain
• Solid grasp of software development methodologies, quality assurance and industry standards
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical collaborators
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail and ability to think critically about business processes and requirements
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration between teams
• Experience in risk management, including identifying and mitigating project risks
• Familiarity with user acceptance testing (UAT) processes and methodologies
• Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR) is a must
