Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of data-driven policy strategies and plans aimed at increasing patient access to our world-class medicines. You will manage a team of senior policy executives, conduct regular check-ins with direct reports, manage external consultants, and facilitate effective interaction with senior stakeholders. You will also play a leading role in participating and managing trade association work groups to represent the company’s interests.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelors degree required
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in public policy, public affairs, government affairs, market access, access strategy, or issues management or relevant work experiences
- Experience juggling multiple deadlines and priorities on intricate, critical issues
- Understanding of and experience working with or adjacent to the pharma sector
- Expertise in distilling sophisticated policy concepts into plain language
- Skilled at managing cross-functional partner relations in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on both strategy and execution
- Deep understanding of the federal/state legislative and regulations process
- Steadfast desire to understand the data that drives policy and commercial business decisions
- Experience in leading projects and team directly or indirectly
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Advanced degree
- An understanding of the drug development process, including regulatory and public health policies
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
- Experience working in both policy and market access roles
- Experience as a People Manager

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $195,130 to $292,695. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
