The ELN Product Team – DevOps Engineer will work on the overall development, validation, integration, modification, operation, and maintenance of the ELN. A key responsibility will be to design, develop, implement, and maintain integrations between various applications and the ELN, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient communication.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
As an ELN Product Team - DevOps Engineer specializing in Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs) support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of ELN systems within the organization's scientific research environment.
- Work closely with scientific teams to enhance ELN configurations, promoting collaboration and data sharing.
- Set up monitoring tools for proactive issue resolution, minimizing disruptions in research workflows.
- Implement ELN-specific security practices to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with researchers to understand ELN requirements and optimize integrations with lab tools.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ELN configurations and integrations.
- Pragmatic, hands on mentality.
- Understanding knowledge gaps and have an openness to raise them.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with process tools like GIT, JIRA, Confluence and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as code, monitoring/observability concepts and related tools.
- Experience in building applications incorporating cloud (AWS), API’s, microservices, containerisation and serverless architectures.
- Experience of delivering and supporting software in a DevOps environment.
- Exposure to analytics tools like Power BI (Business Intelligence).
- Excellent problem solving and adaptability.
- Willing to work in cross-cultural environment across multiple time zones.
- Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team to achieve objectives.
- Eager to learn and develop new tech skills, as required.
- Good written and verbal skills, fluent English.
- Advanced experience with ELN platforms and their technical integration into biopharmaceutical laboratory workflows.
- Expertise in handling scientific data formats, laboratory instrument integrations, and industry-specific technical compliance standards.
- Familiarity with advanced GxP regulations and practices.
