Role Summary

Your primary focus will be on Statutory reporting, Balance Sheet Governance, Cash Agenda, Transfer Pricing and FCF (Financial Control Framework). You will be supporting one or more markets and get along with other Finance colleagues including Cluster CFOs, Country Business Partners and MC Controller. You will collaborate with a team of 5-10 analysts to perform financial, control & accounting processes, as well as working on external regulatory submissions collaborating closely with the business on a regular basis, and to develop and improve those same processes over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for month end close process, ensuring timely & accurate delivery of financial information to stakeholders.
  • Ensure strong control environment across region – FCF.
  • Ensure a healthy position of balance sheet is a priority.
  • Business Partnering with Marketing Company & GFS (Global Finance Services).
  • Support Cash Generation initiatives.
  • Transfer Pricing – provide accurate information regarding New TP and Annual Revisions.
  • Statutory reporting - Work with external partner to ensure timely and accurate submission of local statutory reporting to relevant authorities.
  • Provide coaching/guidance to business analysts for skill enhancement, improve analytical capabilities and process understanding.
  • Issue resolution – identify and resolve complex issues promptly, collaborate cross-functionally to address root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Stakeholder management - engage to understand their requirements and challenges, build strong relationship for effective collaboration and communication.

Other role requirements

  • Assist in better business decisions by provision of financial expertise and insightful analysis to all ad hoc queries in line with SLA.
  • Ensure corporate governance standards are met, taking accountability for effective operation of relevant financial reporting controls.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for standardization and simplification within the process area, fostering efficiency and streamlined operations.
  • Utilize financial data interpretation skills to provide timely and accurate variance analysis and insightful commentary for statutory reporting.

Essential criteria

  • You should have a Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent, with a minimum 8-10 years General Accounting / Controlling / experience.
  • You have strong English and Mandarin Language proficiency, both verbal and written, with the confidence to express clear opinions and ability to explain financial issues to non-financial management.
  • Experience of change management and building engagement.
  • Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams.
  • Have experience in SAP.
