Safety, Health and Environment Specialist

Accountabilities:
As a Safety, Health and Environment Specialist, you will manage or provide technical support to multiple teams on a day-to-day basis ensuring adequate supervision, instruction and regulatory training is provided.
You will oversee long-term resource planning for the function by collecting information on needs from others and escalating them properly. You will act as a technical owner of a specific area within the Safety, Health and Environment Function with a deep understanding of processes and equipment employed.
You will lead the planning, managing, and monitoring of major Safety, Health and Environment projects from concepts to implementation, or provide expert technical support to project manager.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Degree level or equivalent
- Experience with Safety, Health and Environment
- Fluent in Portuguese with good commands in English
Desirable skills:
- Understanding of multiple aspects of Safety, Health and Environment
