Job Title - Lead Consultant - SAP Data Management/Data Cleansing

Career Level - E

As the S/4 Data Cleanse Lead – Operations, you'll lead all data cleansing efforts within the Operations Cleanse execution  work stream for the Axial program's S/4HANA migration, ensuring data quality meets migration requirements. This hands-on role involves collaborating extensively with local leads, project resources, Data Services, technology teams, and key stakeholders across EPO and global data offices.

Essential Skills:

  • SAP Data Cleanse / transformation / evaluation experience: Proven experience leading complex SAP data cleansing initiatives incl. driving business requirements, data interrogation, profiling, managing approval process, cleansing

  • Data Management Expertise: Robust experience in operations and data processes for master and transactional data (Material Master, P&MM - PIR, Source Lists, Production to Dispatch Door - BOM, Equipment).

  • SAP & Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with comprehensive knowledge of data profiling, analysis, migration, reconciliation, fix capability, and validation. Deep understanding of SAP data and functional processes.

  • Communication & Influence: Ability to translate complex data issues into clear solutions and messages, influencing stakeholders with confidence.

  • Project Management & Collaboration: Excellent project management, collaboration, and presentation skills.

  • Attention to Detail: Highly organized and structured approach with a strong focus on detail.

Nice to Have Skill:

  • Life Sciences/Pharma Industry Experience: Experience working with Planning, Global Supply Chain, and ICSM in the (a plus).

Typical Accountabilities

The Data Cleanse Lead will co-ordinate, drive and deliver all data cleanse activities across the specified object workstream to ensure required data quality is achieved in preparation for migration to S/4 HANA.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identifying, defining and agreeing the data cleanse delivery scope and approach, DQ continuous monitoring ,etc.

  • Driving out comprehensive data quality analysis , requirements ,etc

  • Applying data, process and object expertise deliver a robust data delivery approach and successful data cleanse while securing ongoing data quality assurance by designing and implementing step-change data governance concepts

  • Leading and directing the prioritisation of data delivery across the specified workstream, defining and managing reporting on progress to relevant stakeholders.

  • Establishing project documentation, delivery planning and project management across the workstream

  • Ensuring best practice data capabilities are applied by integrating with Data Capability Experts and application of expert knowledge securing efficient data delivery

  • Providing management oversight to the workstream sub-team and day-to-day management to the assigned data resources, scope and ways of working

  • Managing key relationships between the cleanse team and S/4 project & business teams.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Engineering / equivalent degree and having relevant SAP experience and subject matter expertise in Operations objects and processes (mentioned above)

  • Demonstrable SAP working knowledge across transactions and reporting in an SAP environment, including an understanding of how data integrates within an SAP architecture.

  • Proven experience in leading complex Data Quality / Cleanse initiatives within large scale transformation programmes

  • Solid Experience of Business/IT partnering

  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a diverse, global team, within and across functions. Experience with global working and across cultures.

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives

  • Ability to lead and manage negotiations across a complex group, to a target outcome.

  • Proven track record of delivery and ability to effectively prioritise to ensure goals and outcomes are achieved

  • Demonstrated project leadership skills.  

Desirable

  • S/4 HANA implementation programme experience.  

  • Experience in life sciences and healthcare.

  • In depth knowledge of relevant key business processes.
