Regional Customer Director, West - Respiratory Biologics
The Regional Customer Director is a pivotal member of the Customer Director team, acting as a strategic partner to a Respiratory Biologics brand and representing the brand to External Scientific Experts (ESEs). This role focuses on ENTs for Nasal Polyps and future indications. It offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with both external and internal partners while gaining valuable Brand (HCP) experience.
Accountabilities
• ESE Identification Development & Engagement: Identify, develop, cultivate, leverage, and build relationships with targeted/future ESEs in Respiratory, specifically with ENTs for Nasal Polyps, SUA & future LCM (EoE with GIs) space to grow advocates.
• Uncover & share back key insights: Collect and deliver pertinent insights from ESEs back to the brand and other key partners.
• Lead/Co-Lead National brand projects: Lead/co-lead and/or consult on National Projects involving ESEs such as Ad boards, Consults, National Webinars/SPRINT programs, Product Theaters, Speaker bureaus, build quarterly business plans, speaker decks, build strategic plans & budgets.
• Lead targeted regional congresses: Plan, lead and complete large targeted regional congresses (securing sponsorships, Product Theaters, speakers, receptions engagements booths as well as coordinate with brand & sales team).
• Facilitate strategic ESE Engagements: Facilitate and coordinate strategic engagements with ESEs to deliver best-in-class ESE Engagements at Regional (appropriate) and National congresses.
• Coach and develop ESE Speakers: Identify, coach/prep and develop speakers that are also on our ESE list for Regional/National speaking opportunities as well as improve speaker effectiveness to align with brand strategy and optimize the experience for the Brand Speaker’s Bureau.
• Manage RCD Brand Budgets: Lead and manage Brand budgets for the Customer Director team.
• Cross collaboration customer management: Manage partner relationships and ESE field-based work. Collaborate across brands, medical, sales, Corp Affairs, compliance & legal depending upon activity and project. This specific RCD role will work with multiple internal and external customers/partners including the brand teams across both AZ & Amgen, Medical Affairs, and Sales across AZ and Amgen.
Essential Skills/Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Previous experience in multiple functions (Sales, District Sales Manager, Brand Team, Market Access) and/or Medical Affairs
• Clinical experience in Respiratory area/Respiratory Biologics
• Previous experience building, implementing & driving project plans, programs and related activities
• 10+ years’ work experience in pharmaceutical or biotech
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to flourish in a team environment and foster a culture of collaboration
• Proven track record of consistent achievement in assigned responsibilities, goals, objectives, and other relevant metrics
• Travel is required (approx. 50%) for fieldwork, National/Regional congresses, National brand initiatives, and other internal meetings
o Preferable for an individual to live within one of the following cities/states and/or within the geography and have close access to a major airport:
West RCD: Chicago, Dallas, Denver, PHX, San Diego, LA or surrounding areas (States in CST, MST & PST)

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $173,693.60 to $260,540.40 ,. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
