National Liaison Lead – CVRM

The National Liaison Lead (NLL) – Cardiovascular Renal Metabolism (CVRM) is the key interface between the needs of US Health Care Practitioners and Clinical Decision Makers and Headquarters-based Brand Team colleagues. It is an opportunity to truly transform patient care through leadership of a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Regional Liaison Directors (RLDs), and Field Physicians.
Accountabilities
As the NLL – CVRM you will:
Have accountability for leadership and direction for the CVRM Field Medical Team; includes leading therapeutic strategy, leading first-line leaders, delivering on priorities.
Have accountability for building the scientific engagement capabilities of the team.
Ensure Field Medical deliverables and metrics are relevant, understood, met, and exceeded. You will enable best practice sharing and consistent adherence to business processes, in compliance with guidelines and policies.
Be a key member of the CVRM Medical Leadership Team, ensuring Field insights inform our evolving strategies and plans.Resource the Field Medical team effectively, and identify creative and innovative approaches to scientific information delivery.
Anticipate future trends and needs in the marketplace.
Create and nurture a team culture that encourages continued growth and recognition.
Lead and manage change initiatives to enable positive business outcomes, serving as a role model fostering personal accountability and ownership of individual and team success.
Collaborate effectively with Brand team and business area counterparts to ensure pull-through of business priorities.
Essential Skills/Experience
PhD, PharmD, or MD
5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Medical Affairs
Experience working in and/or leading Field Medical teams
Track record of delivering large scale, impactful medical/clinical initiatives
Excellent collaborative, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively, cross-functionally, and with executive leadership teams
Desirable Skills/Experience
Medical/clinical/scientific expertise in CVRM preferred
3+ years’ experience in Field Medical roles
3+ years’ experience in strategy setting roles in Medical Affairs

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $220,815.20to $331,222.20. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
