Essential Requirements

  • University degree from Medical Faculty
  • Min 3-year experience of Medical Affairs
  • Min 2-year experience in Oncology
  • Knowledge of customer segments and market dynamics
  • Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context to multiple audiences
  • Excellent project management ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory environment
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Good at teamwork
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Turkish
  • No restriction to travel frequently and must have a valid driving license
  • Located in Ankara/İstanbul

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To establish AstraZeneca as a scientific leader through proactive, updated and effective Medical input
  • To engage  scientific leaders, professional bodies or societies to establish AZ as a scientific leader
  • Generate the medical evidence to support the brand strategies in priority TAs to meet unmet medical needs
  • Provide medical expertise to shape the regulatory environment to achieve rapid and high-quality market access to AZ products including new registration, new product evaluation and life cycle
  • Defines and delivers training on the Medical background of the product for various functions in an organization as required
  • Governance and ensuring overall adherence to processes and regulations [include but not limited to patient safety, clinical trials, promotional activities, etc …]
  • Providing coaching for team members to help them achieve the targets defined in their individual development plans and supporting their development to ensure that they provide technical specialization and professionalism in their jobs.
  • Proactively identifying KEEs with high levels of  scientific expertise in local treatment practice to collaborate on specific medico-marketing activities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Lung Ambition Alliance initiatives, facilitating communication between stakeholders.
  • Lead local medical strategy for Lung Ambition Alliance, focusing on policy changes, early diagnosis initiatives, innovative treatments, and improving patient care.
  • Foster collaboration between public and private sectors, leveraging AI and other technologies to drive advancements, in close partnership with cross-functional teams.
