What you’ll do
Leading AstraZeneca's pricing strategies and HTA submissions to align with global policies and local business priorities, coordinating market access support for product launches, and collaborating with various functions for pricing approvals and comprehensive submissions. It also includes aligning with market access initiatives to secure national access for key therapeutic areas, developing KPIs, refining strategies through regular reporting, and leading access-related discussions with national health stakeholders
Typical Accountabilities:
Leading AstraZeneca's pricing strategies to ensure alignment with global pricing policies, developing pricing plans, coordinating market access support for launches, collaborating with local and regional functions for pricing approvals, and supporting regular reviews of pricing and patient assistance programs for compliance and effectiveness.
Leading and executing AstraZeneca's HTA submission plan in alignment with local business priorities, coordinating with various functions for pricing approval and implementation, ensuring comprehensive HTA submissions, and managing post-submission requirements.
Aligning with market access initiatives to secure national access for key therapeutic areas and products, developing and monitoring KPIs, and preparing regular reports to refine strategies.
Leading and coordinating access-related discussions with national health stakeholders like DOH and PhilHealth, working closely with various functions, and aligning national-level strategies with overall market access and commercial objectives.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Public Health, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
Extensive experience in pricing strategy within the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record in health technology assessment (HTA) submissions and market access strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
Excellent leadership and project management skills to lead cross-functional teams.
In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical pricing, health economics, and reimbursement landscapes.
