Job Title: Lead Consultant - Data Ops Engineer

Introduction to role:

Join our Data Analytics and AI (DA&AI) team within Operations IT as The Data Foundation Data ops Engineer l guide the development and execution of roadmaps for data foundation platforms, focusing on design, optimization, and innovation. They will manage both technical and financial aspects of platforms, ensure alignment with security and compliance standards, and drive automation and efficiency. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, overseeing third-party partnerships, and maintaining high-quality data and documentation. The Lead will also provide technical support, manage project resources, and drive technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for data foundation platforms.

  • Assess and improve current systems and apply technology to enhance data workflows.

  • Design and optimize data services and manage technology stacks.

  • Ensure automation and handle funding proposals.

  • Drive innovation and collaborate with stakeholders.

  • Oversee quality assurance for data services.

  • Manage project technical resources and evaluate external technical staff.

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience managing data, analytics, and AI platforms.

  • Expertise in CloudOps, DevOps, DataOps, and infrastructure.

  • Strong knowledge of BI and data warehouse solutions, including Snowflake.

  • Proficient in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Python, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Linux.

  • Effective communicator with Agile experience and strong stakeholder influence.Relevant technical degree; AWS experience with various services.

  • Skilled in GitHub Actions, Docker, Jira, NodeJS, EKS, AWS Amplify, Artifactory, and SonarQube.

  • Familiar with Lean design processes and Data Foundation technologies (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Collibra, Monte Carlo).

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry data requirements and compliance standards.

  • High project management skills, with a focus on delivering outcomes on time.
