Country Finance Business Partner
The role broadly includes the following key components:
- Business Strategy & Decision Support: Supporting key business & investment decisions through ensuring dynamic resource allocation, targeted at value-creating opportunities, advising and guiding senior business leaders, using an excellent knowledge of customer requirements, balanced with an understanding of internal culture and climate.
- Business Performance: Driving financial performance and business activity, to deliver and communicate performance and business planning reports, and to advise senior management on key drivers.
- Continuous Improvement, Governance and Coaching: Leading continuous improvement in Finance processes and capabilities and to lead financial risk management and financial governance in area of accountability
- Business Strategy & Decision Support: Proactively understanding future financial information needs to create efficient solutions, guiding teams through difficult decisions, negotiating for positive outcomes, and participating in strategic planning for significant R&D business decisions such as strategic change programs and investment propositions.
- Business Performance: Shared accountability for forecast accuracy, developing reliable forecasts, leading financial planning, identifying risks, driving efficiencies, enhancing business results through commercial acumen, managing post-deal agreements, preparing key presentations, collaborating with managers for cost planning, ensuring timely collections, and supporting audits and tax filings.
- Continuous Improvement, Governance and Coaching: Initiating improvements in finance practices, communicating compliance standards effectively to non-specialists, leading proactive risk management, and enhancing both the professional capability of the finance team and the financial understanding of non-finance managers.
