Introduction to role

Are you ready to lead and innovate in the world of incentives and awards? As the Director of Incentives and Awards, you will report to the Sr. Director of Field Operations and be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive strategy for field incentive compensation plans. Your mission is to align these plans with the evolving needs of our business, ensuring they are efficient, motivational, and fair. You'll work closely with senior leadership to design plans that reward performance and foster a culture of excellence. Join us in developing cross-functional partnerships and delivering exceptional customer service.

Accountabilities

  • Design, strategize, coordinate, communicate, and implement field incentives compensation programs across the entire BBU portfolio.

  • Lead a team of four direct reports, fostering their development while managing day-to-day deliverables and driving visionary design for future capabilities.

  • Educate and influence a diverse cross-functional team of senior leaders to support pay-for-performance incentive compensation plans.

  • Lead the Incentive Compensation Governance Committee to ensure compliant and effective decision-making.

  • Drive innovation, simplicity, and efficiency in collaboration with strategic partners for IC plan development and administration.

  • Partner with Commercial Excellence to enhance understanding and impact of IC plans through unique training initiatives.

  • Act as a change agent by assessing marketplace trends and internal needs to proactively identify opportunities.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required.

  • 5+ years of commercial experience (sales, sales management, marketing, training, etc.) in roles of increasing responsibility with consistent track record of performance.

  • 5+ years’ experience within Incentives (client or consulting based)

  • Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence senior leadership decisions.

  • The ability to work collaboratively in a productive and positive manner.

  • Strong evidence of developing talent, inspiring followership, and driving accountability.

  • Forward-thinking and able to adapt and flex according to business needs and priorities.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Advanced Degree preferred.

  • 5+ years’ experience within Incentives (client or consulting based) in the Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare industry
