Therapeutic Area Manager Oncology
Location: Riga, Latvia
As a Therapeutical Area Manager in Oncology, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the Oncology brand strategy within the assigned Business Unit. You will be responsible for business planning at the local level, coordinating market activities across the country related to assigned Oncology brands, and ensuring the execution of brand strategies according to the brand plan. You will be main point of contact for the customers group.
Accountabilities:
Lead the yearly brand/business planning process at the country level.
Utilize local insights to inform indication/brand forecasts and investment needs as part of planning cycles.
Oversee budget management for the brands.
Drive and execute local implementation of brand strategy and operational plan activities through the Local Implementation Team (LIT). Deliver local brand and campaign trainings.
Ensure and manage local sign-offs of all marketing materials, including PROMOMATS uploads.
Drive specific Baltic initiatives according to individual interests and skills.
Generate market insights together with the LIT team.
Manage relationships with local Key External Experts (KEEs) in collaboration with Medical. Up to 50% based - grow AZ leadership and expand the external network in Oncology.
Identify gaps and opportunities in the patient journey to build Therapeutic Area (TA) and above TA strategies with the cross-functional team.
Analyze development and trends in the country.
Stay updated on the development of the health political environment.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Demonstrated Pharma marketing or sales experience
Good knowledge of market ethical rules
Excellent communication skills
Excellent knowledge of local and English languages
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, e.g., in Science, Pharmacy, Marketing
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Pharma marketing or sales experience in oncology area
Knowledge of market ethical rules
