This role typically involves managing and leading a team of tender executives for end-to-end management of pharmaceutical tenders, ensuring compliance with government regulations, successful participation improving winning probability.
Position Title: Asst Manager Tender Operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead, coach and guide the talented team of Tender Executives for successful participation in Government tenders for related pharmaceutical products and help in creating access of innovative medicines to deserving patients.
Tender Identification:
Monitor government portals (GeM, e-procurement platforms) and other sources for upcoming pharmaceutical tenders.
Identify suitable tenders aligned with the company’s product portfolio.
Documentation and Submission:
Prepare and compile all necessary documents, including technical bids,financial bids, and regulatory compliance certificates.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of tenders.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, regulatory affairs,legal, and supply chain for tender preparation.
Coordinate with government officials and clients for clarification andnegotiations.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all submissions meet the legal, regulatory, and quality standards mandated by Indian government agencies.
Post-Tender Management:
Follow up on bid status, manage negotiations, and finalize agreements.
Coordinate supply chain execution for successful delivery of awarded tenders.
Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain records of all tenders, analyze success rates, and provide insights forimproving bid strategies.

Tender Participation Metrics:
Number of tenders identified and submitted per month/quarter.
Percentage of tenders submitted within deadlines.
Tender Success Rate:
Percentage of tenders won versus tenders submitted.
Total value of tenders won.
Compliance:
Percentage of tenders meeting regulatory and documentation requirements.
Number of errors or rejections due to non-compliance.
Timely Execution:
On-time delivery rate for awarded tenders.
Percentage of tenders executed without penalties or delays.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Quality and accuracy of competitor and market analysis.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essentials:
B. Pharm/M. Pharm
2-4 years of experience in submitting and managing tender operations for pharmaceutical products for all Federal, State, Autonomous, PSUs and other Government Institutions.
Desirable:
Good legal and contractual understanding about Government Rate Contracts for Pharmaceutical products.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and regulatory requirements in India.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and tender management software.
