Are you ready to take the helm and lead a high-performing team in one of the most exciting areas of the pharmaceutical industry? As a Franchise Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind achieving bold revenue and profit targets while shaping the future of the Hematology, Nephrology, Transplant therapeutic area.

Summary of Position:

As Franchise Lead (HNT), you will inspire and direct a high-performing team of senior marketers and account managers to shape a clear growth strategy, translate it into an executable plan, and ensure disciplined implementation that accelerates the business. As a member of the Commercial Leaders group, you will also champion the broader success of the Commercial division by advancing its vision, strengthening its capabilities, and driving sustained performance.

What You’ll Do:

Leading a national commercial team in the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans that will ensure a strong competitive focus and improve business results now and in the future.

· Build and elevate a high performing, engaged team by leading recruitment, development, mentoring, and performance management of direct reports while fostering an inclusive, trusting, and collaborative culture.

· Drive cross-functional impact within Alexion Canada by collaborating and coordinating across functions to deliver business results for the Franchise.

· Align with EUCAN and Global leadership by collaborating with Regional and Global Marketing and Market Access leaders to refine best practices and harmonize core elements of the global strategy.

· Oversee new assets and indications in partnership with local, regional, and global New Product Planning teams to position the Franchise for sustained growth.

· Shape the market through customer insight by building long-term, productive customer relationships that inform insight-led strategies and influence market dynamics.

· Lead in strategic forums by participating actively and contributing strategically at the Commercial Strategy forum.

Qualifications:

· A minimum of a University degree is required, preferably in Life Sciences or Business, MBA an asset.

· Minimum of 15+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, including 5+ years leading sales and marketing teams.

· Must have proven abilities to grow a business.

· Demonstrated broad and deep knowledge of expert level marketing including brand strategy, financial management, franchise management, and field execution.

· Demonstration of leadership proficiencies including, a global /enterprise mindset, strength in talent acquisition, and development and team engagement, the ability to challenge the status quo and shape and lead change and forge internal collaboration across all levels of the enterprise.

· Bilingualism would be an asset (French).
