Summary of Position:
We believe we can make a positive impact for patients. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Patient Support Strategy, you will be a key member in building the Patient Centre of Excellence capability.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the AstraZeneca Patient Centre of Excellence team to deliver seamless services to patients and partners, establishing AstraZeneca as an innovative leader.
- Actively engage with cross-functional teams to ensure a patient-first approach.
- Facilitate efficient management of third-party vendor relationships to enhance patient programs and improve the patient journey.
- Contribute to project implementation focused on optimizing patient management and outcomes.
- Support the team with budgeting, procurement, and financial reconciliations, ensuring compliance with vendor contracts.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating patient service programs.
- Aid in issue management across all portfolios.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-3 years of experience in Patient Support Programs or the pharmaceutical industry; experience with launching and operationalizing patient services at the vendor level is a strong asset.
- Post-secondary education, preferably in health sciences.
- Knowledge of the Canadian payer landscape is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership without authority and an entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for prioritizing patient care.
- Strong problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
- Self-motivated, driven, and committed to delivering results at a high standard.
- Proficient in project, time, and financial management, with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and capable of supporting change management both internally and externally.
- Effective in a collaborative, matrixed environment with a cross-functional approach.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for implementation.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Bachelors degree in relevant field (Marketing, Science, Economics or Finance); Strong analytical skills
