HRIT Demand Solutions Lead

Introduction to role:

The HRIT Demand Solutions Lead is responsible for overseeing the provision of technical solutions for HR demands, ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective and innovative IT solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying solutions that enhance the efficiency and functionality of HR processes, while ensuring alignment with the organization's technology standards and strategic objectives.

Typical Accountabilities:

- Maintain a solid understanding of the HR technology landscape, including Workday, ServiceNow and AI platforms, while focusing on data analytics and integration.

- Work closely with Platform Leads, developers, and IT teams to ensure the delivery of resilient and sustainable technical solutions that meet business requirements.

- Supervise technical analysis and design throughout the entire demand lifecycle.

- Enable effective communication and collaboration among HRIT team members, stakeholders, and management.

- Address complex technical challenges and ensure solutions align with data strategies and architectural goals.

- Partner with the Solution Architecture team for significant changes to the platform's blueprint.

- Enhance existing applications and ensure new ones align with cross IT standards and business needs.

- Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language and vice versa, working with stakeholders.

- Collaborate with process analysts to analyze and ensure requirements meet standards of completeness and feasibility.

- Contribute to RFx responses, tenders, and commercial proposals to align new solutions with the HR ecosystem.

- Lead demo sessions for stakeholders to showcase solutions addressing business needs.

- Ensure the development and upkeep of solution proposals and design documents that reflect business demands.

- Conduct impact assessments of proposed changes on the HR technology ecosystem.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Degree level education (Information Technology or similar).
- More than 5 years of experience working in technical lead roles for IT Support within global teams, delivering and supporting solutions.
- Overall 10+ years of hands on software development experience preferably within the HR technology landscape.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and operations.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related systems and tools.
- Understanding of software engineering CI/CD processes, with experience in the design and implementation of applications build, release, deployment and configuration control management.
- Technically competent and curious with a passion to explore, iterate, fail, and learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Experience working in a globally distributed team.
- Experience working with JIRA, Service Now and Automated Testing tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence, CI CD tools - Ansible, etc).
