As the Senior Manager of Global Supply Planning at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, you will play a pivotal role in our Global Supply Chain organization. With Alexion's expanding commercial portfolio and growing complexity, your expertise will be crucial in handling and leading supply chain planning activities for a diverse range of products. Work closely with planning teams, both internal and external sites, quality, regulatory, and NPI planning groups to guarantee smooth operations. Your confirmed supply chain operational expertise, strong leadership, and excellent collaboration skills will be key to formulating master production schedules that meet demand requirements, budget forecasts, and maintain stock levels within agreed targets. Accountabilities

- Facilitate cross-functional Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales and Execution (S&OE) processes, focusing on maintaining patient supply while considering regulatory constraints.
- Implement and maintain product parameters across the network within OMP to drive replenishment and inventory management based on market demand.
- Maintain target inventory levels for DS/DP/FP in the short/medium term horizon, ensuring efficient planning and production.
- Responsible for batch allocation aligned to monograph and regulatory approvals, maintaining ring-fenced inventory where necessary.
- Project and control inventory across the supply network, working with finance to minimize obsolescence risks.
- Perform scenario modeling for product portfolios, aligning with planning and manufacturing functions.
- Anticipate potential problems, mitigate risks, troubleshoot challenges, and facilitate cross-functional meetings.
- Drive escalations, mitigations, and hyper care activities to ensure no risk to patient supply.
- Be the point of contact for escalations and drive production alignment meetings with internal sites and external manufacturing.
- Provide updates to Clinical on manufacturing/batch allocation and schedule amendments.
- Handle and report on Network Performance, KPI Tracking, risks & issues as part of weekly/monthly reports.
- Partner with other areas within Alexion to work on lean initiatives and efficiency improvements across the value chain.
- Develop close working relationships at all levels of the company to ensure optimal supply planning operations.
- Complete professional activities in compliance with cGMP guidelines.

Essential Skills/Experience

- Third Level Degree qualification in a relevant discipline is desired.
- 7 years+ in Supply Planning, Strategic Planning or associated experience
- Advanced level in MS Excel and intermediate level in other MS applications essential
- Advanced analytical skills and high attention to detail essential

Desirable Skills/Experience

- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Planning concepts and strategies
- Prior experience with Advanced Supply Chain Planning Systems essential
- Knowledge of planning processes and distribution planning principles
- Ability to cope with fast-paced and dynamic business environment
- Prior SAP functional skills are preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with concepts of cGMP
- Ability to communicate and lead cross-functional projects
