We have an exciting opportunity to work in the Global Haematology Franchise as the Global Marketing Lead – CAR-T. This role, reporting into the Global Commercial Head for CAR-T, helps lead the implementation of the global strategic brand plans for New haematological assets across various indications. This role works collaboratively key global country and regional leads based in the US, Europe, Asia as well as wide range of headquarter functions including Marketing, Global Analytics & Insights (GA&I), Digital, Pricing and Market Access, Global Medical Affairs (GMA), Regulatory affairs, R&D, Product development, and others.
Key responsibilities:
- Global Cell Therapy Strategy Development: Develop and lead comprehensive global commercial cell therapy delivery capabilities that support patient journeys, collaborating closely with the clinical/commercial CAR T sites, manufacturing (CMC), Digital, and supply chain teams.
- Capability Building and Alignment: Manage the development of global cell therapy capabilities that align with the core brand objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure the creation of clear implementation plans tailored for various regions and countries. Develop clear site activation and delivery plans for cell therapies.
- Co-Creation and Collaboration: Drive the co-creation of patient support and delivery models in partnership with a global cross-functional team (Digital, IT, US patient support teams. Identify appropriate external partnerships to support delivery of cell therapy and improving access to patients in the community setting.
- Seek and secure endorsement from the Global Brand Team (GBT) to ensure alignment and support for initiatives. Collaborate with affiliates, main regions, and markets to define the optimal Go-to-Market model for cell therapy delivery.
- Serve as a subject matter expert within the brand team, assisting other departments and markets in effectively communicating the strategy, tactical approach, and launch playbook to ensure diverse audiences.
- Promote the continuous development of insights by collaborating with GA&I and engaging with cell therapy experts, nurse navigators, and community healthcare professionals. Utilize these insights to refine the cell therapy delivery strategy and its implementation.
- Seamless customer experience: Continuously assess and challenge the cell therapy programs to ensure the capabilities are differentiated vs competition and supports superior customer experience for patients and sites. Track progress against KPIs (e.g. and prepare performance reports.
- Improve communication and knowledge sharing between global and local teams, as well as across various functions.
- Define and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet objectives.
- Remain informed about industry trends and best practices, identifying innovative marketing opportunities and strategies.
- Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all marketing channels and communications.
Requirements
- A season leader with the ability to drive product development
- Minimum of 10+ years in the pharmaceutical sector
- Experience leading multiple indications simultaneously
- Product Knowledge is a must: CAR-T and / or Cell & Gene Therapy
- Disease Knowledge: must have worked in at least in one or more of the following disease areas; MM, DLBCL, FL, CLL, or ALL
- Broad global commercial experience including pre-launch and launch.
- Proven experience and knowledge of a broad base of external customers including patients, prescribers, payers, and providers.
- Demonstrated use of insights to deliver effective strategy.
- Evidence of developing compelling cases
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Science subject
Desirable attributes:
- PhD, MBA
- Experience in Haematology
- Strong clinical competence and scientific mind-set
- Business Insights experience
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $229,303 to $343,955. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
