Manager, Business Systems and Solutions
This role follows a hybrid work model and requires in-office attendance for at least 60% of each month. Regular on-site presence is required to support cross-functional collaboration, training delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team connectivity.
This is what you will do:
The Manager of Business Systems and Solutions will partner with Alexion’s Commercial organization optimize customer relationship management, enable data-driven engagement, and enhance interactions with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders across channels. One of the key systems the individual will manage is Veeva CRM, a platform heavily utilized by the Commercial field to manage their activities, events, and virtual engagements with Health Care Professionals. Additionally, this role will be highly involved in an enterprise-wide CRM transformation project in 2027.
The role engages with a broad range of processes and stakeholders and is dynamic, highly collaborative, and will play a critical role in setting the organization up for future success. The role sits within Business Operations and Commercial Effectiveness (BOCE) in the US Commercial organization.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and an understanding of Commercial Operations to drive efficiency and effectiveness in field activities.

The Manager, Business Systems and Solutions will responsible for:
- Support requirements gathering with US Sales, TLL, FRM, and Marketing stakeholders to ensure that key business strategies can be broken down to effective, measurable, and scalable processes that are harmonized with business systems (e.g., CRM) and technology
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their goals, priorities and business drivers and map these with system and process improvements
- Perform analysis, gather requirements and execute CRM and system project enhancements from start to finish.
- Drive system and process adoption through strategic and operational change management activities
- Present new functionality and processes/tools to Senior Leadership
- Deliver meaningful CRM and Engagement, (such as RxAdvantage and Veeva Link) platforms that enable field teams, minimize duplication, reduce work in the system, and
- Support Product Launches, ensuring all impacted CRM requirements are captured, tested, and tracked in deployment schedule
- Utiliza data to derive insights that inform decision-making and improve system performance
- Supervise and facilitate the resolution of critical Veeva system issues in coordination with lT. Create a closed loop feedback process
- Represent the department in cross-functional projects to ensure that operations and digital interests and requirements are accounted for
- Stay informed about emerging technologies revelent to operations for a Commercial Org
The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, as reasonably required by business needs.
You will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years experience in implementing, managing, or enhancing Salesforce CRM, Veeva (or related) platform
- Excels in business process optimization and business requirements gathering with a focus on how to build scalable systems and processes
- Proven ability in effectively working with and managing cross-functional teams, successfully navigating between Business and IT stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Advanced Powerpoint or equivalent software skills for making strong presentations to key stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to interact with senior management
- Highly proactive and resourceful to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslywhile maintaining attention to detail, quality, and deadlines.

We would prefer for you to have:
- 2+ Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare industry experience
- Consulting experience in strategy, management, or IT
- Veeva CRM, Salesforce, or Veeva Vault certification
The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $115,795 to $173,693. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles.
