About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Rare Disease Partner (RDP) to join our Swiss team. This dynamic, customer‑facing role sits at the intersection of strategic field engagement, key account management, and marketing execution.
As an RDP, you will build and strengthen partnerships with healthcare professionals, hospital departments, and key experts within hematology and nephrology. You will shape and execute impactful commercial initiatives, support medical education and congress activities, and drive strategic account plans that elevate patient care in rare diseases.
Your work will directly influence advocacy, collaboration, and patient outcomes across Switzerland in the areas of hematology and nephrology.
Key Responsibilities
External Engagement
Successfully complete all onboarding and product training, applying learnings to strategic planning and customer interactions.
Operate with integrity and uphold all internal policies, laws, and company values; act as a role model for ethical behaviour.
Build and maintain a strong network of external stakeholders, including key experts, industry leaders, and medical organizations.
Develop deep knowledge of the market, demographic trends, and Swiss healthcare systems relevant to your territory.
Create and execute comprehensive account plans grounded in a strong understanding of the disease area, patient journey, and market environment.
Identify pain points and strategic drivers across the patient journey to design initiatives that deliver value to accounts and support better patient outcomes.
Conduct strategic analyses of account opportunities, converting insights into clear tactical actions.
Drive high‑quality engagements with key customers, developing advocacy plans aligned with their needs.
Hold meaningful scientific dialogues with healthcare professionals on approved indications, efficacy, and safety to support appropriate product use.
Lead project portfolios for assigned accounts and indications.
Marketing
Deliver on performance objectives set within the therapeutic area.
Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform cross‑functional disease planning and tactical execution.
Own commercial congress planning and execution, ensuring high‑quality organization and delivery.
Partner with the commercial team to support the development and implementation of marketing tactics.
Create impactful content for digital and traditional channels aligned with cross‑functional strategy.
Qualifications
Essential
Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, market access, or a similar customer‑facing role.
Proven experience engaging external experts and managing products.
Strong project management capabilities and strategic mindset.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills.
High standards of ethics and integrity.
Fluency in German and English; French is an advantage.
Ability to work autonomously, manage a field‑based role, and travel within Switzerland.
Desirable
Experience in hematology, nephrology, neurology, or oncology.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in scientific field.
