Procurement Country Manager (H/F)
We are recruiting a Procurement Country Manager (H/F)
Your mission :
Within the Finance Department and reporting to the Finance Director :
Assists with the implementation of Procurement Strategy by working closely with local SMT and the SET Area Procurement Team
Collaborates closely with Global and Regional Category Teams, integrating global and regional category strategies into local sourcing activities and providing at the same time valuable input to help shape regional / global category strategies in accordance with local demand
Leads and drives sourcing projects/category team projects across relevant business areas, and oversees the introduction of new and modified products and services with appropriate departments
Provides expertise to lead direction in delegate spend categories, including building a holistic view of Procurement demand, prioritising resources, driving delivery of the project portfolio, tracking and quality control
Accountable for sourcing activities within a key area of spend which is typically high dollar value, complex in nature, may be multi-geographic and/or cross SET
Conducts commercial reviews of complex procurement requisitions and Statements of Work
Sources materials and/or services and leads the preparation of and solicit competitive bids, quotations and proposals with pertinent specifications, terms and conditions. Leads development of evaluation approach and assessments
Manages and develops a list of recommended sources. Undertakes financial evaluation of suppliers, develops contracts and leads negotiation on agreements for the supply of both standard and complex products and services with new and existing suppliers
Maintains and builds supplier relationships to attract value and innovation and resolves complex supplier issues including escalated cases
Oversees and manages key contracts, including assisting with resolution of payment disputes
Undertakes research and forecasting to inform future organisational buying requirements
Develops and drives procurement plans and reviews and assists in revising AZ Procurement practices, processes and techniques to ensure their conformance with established laws, regulatory requirements (e.g. Sarbanes Oxley, Code of Conduct, Financial Control Framework)
Seeks and implements processes and tools efficiencies and simplification.
Maintains a cost reduction, cost avoidance, cost containment program and reports it via the value database
Oversees Procurement delivery and training on procurement policies.
Your Profil :
Master Degree or equivalent professional qualification
Oral and written fluency in Business English
Industry and commodity experience
Experience in indirect spend / commercial spend categories desirable
Relevant work experience ( at least 5 years), including significant experience within Procurement
People management experience
Strong project management skills
Ability to use a range of influencing techniques
Experience working with the business to identify service and support needs and the appropriative. Ability to find suitable ways to deliver service by utilizing internal and external resources
Proved ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively
Proven experience of change management
Strong analytical and financial skills
Teamwork focused and relationship builder: Works well with others, across departments, levels and cultures. Relates to people in an attentive and adroit way. Listens, communicates and resolves conflicts constructively
Knowledge of eProcurement tools (ARIBA) and SAP are a plus.
