We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant - Aveva-PI DevOps to join our IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to work inclusively in a diverse team to drive change and make a real difference.
Accountabilities:
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of the PI platform & integrations in projects. You will provide design and testing oversight & assurance and ensure accelerated project delivery with high quality. You will also collaborate closely with multiple AZ teams, for example business users/customers, architecture, infrastructure & middleware teams. Your role will also involve continuous improvements of processes and active participation & contribution to the PI Tech BA network.
Essential Skills/Experience:
8-10 years of prior technical support experience with deeper knowledge in Aveva PI data historian application
Experience in implementation, RT reports developments, maintenance and technical support of Aveva PI system
Strong understanding of Aveva PI architecture and business functionality
Strong understanding of the ISA 95 architecture and exposure to automation layer
Rich experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps tools
Strong in database (Oracle /SQL) querying and writing stored procedures
Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with multiple teams in multiple geographies
Experience on Windows/UNIX application environment and understanding of client-server / distributed computing concepts.
Understanding of incident, problem, change , release management processes
Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to multiple systems and support multiple business groups
