Accountable for the strategic direction, business/resource planning, and team leadership of a small-medium sized Medical Affairs function within a country. Directs and supports this function to assure operational effectiveness and efficiencies through a continuous improvement approach. Accountable for the typical HR activities of a function head. May also be a senior individual contributor within a specific area of Medical Affairs - eg Compliance, medical excellence, pharmaco-economics, where impact and decision making will influence the commercial organisation of a global level.
