ABOUT THE ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY SERVICES TEAM
The Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) team is accountable for all Infrastructure, Security, IT Operations and all End User Services and technologies. This group will ensure that our IT Services are seamless and secure, and that technology is delivered in an efficient, effective, and agile way, with a strong focus on experience.

THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Workplace & Enterprise Services(WES)team isaccountable for;
Ensuring our workforce has the right tools and services to be most effective in their workplace. This includes end user devices and operating systems, printing, collaboration tools and conferencing. All of which must work seamlessly and continue to be current and relevant to the business.
The provision of Enterprise Management, Monitoring and Security tools used across the broader AZIT organization, driving availability through proactive, pre-emptive management of our infrastructure.
The Enterprise Service Management platform(ServiceNow), driving and delivery automation and optimization to ensure that our processes are as efficient and effective as possible.
Lifecycle and currency across our infrastructure, including End User, Server and Networks environments
The ETS Device Lifecycle Lead is accountable for the currency and available of the hardwareplatforms across ETS,
Hardware and OS currency across the AZ Laptop, Desktop & Mobile Estate, through robust device refresh & OS evergreen processes
Hardware and OS currency across the Conferencing, Meeting Room and Event Infrastructure, ensuring fleet refresh and interoperability into the AZ Collaboration services strategy
Printer fleet management and hardware refresh, including the expansion of the service across all Markets
Lifecycle framework management and governance across the Server and Network estate
Ensuring that investment is focused on forward looking value and innovationthrough theeradication oftech debtand the effective maintenance of the estate. Critical to this role is stakeholder, budget and roadmap management, ensuring interlock across the Business aligned Technology Groups (BTG) to ensure that funding is interlockedacross ITagainst unified,prioritisedroadmaps bringing together application and infrastructure investment. This role is responsible forensuring that AZ has optimal hardware refresh programs, delivering commercial value to AZ whilst maintaining the optimal user and application experience.
TheETS Device Lifecycle Lead will be:
Own and be accountablefor theeradication of tech across the hardware platforms across ETS& the implementation of the required processes and frameworks to maintain currency
Drive integratedfundingroadmaps across ETS & BTGensuring appropriate funding a priority is given to maintaining hardware currencyacross the estate
Simplify the environmentso our technology and tools are current, delivers value and a great customer experience.
Build strong relationships withkey Stakeholders and Customersto ensure these technologiesand the way we deliver themmeet customer needs.
Manages our technology partnerseffectively to ensureAZ is on the leading edge of technology innovation, both benefiting from and shaping our partners roadmaps
Lead and continuously develop a strong technical teambuilding a function that drives differentiation in how we leverage, integrate and adopt technology
Accountablefor the definition of successful business cases, interlocking investment to drive technology transformation
Be a key member of theWorkplace and Enterprise ServicesLeadership Teamto ensure that the team continues to develop and grow and that strategies are aligned and executed effectively.

YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE
Education, Qualificationsand Experience
Industry recognized experiencein managingglobal, enterpriseteams with a successful track record in driving technology andorganisationaltransformation and simplification
Significant experience in the management and delivery of large scale,refresh programmes
Significant experience in the management and delivery of 3rdparty service agreements
Experience in leadingglobalorganisations(20+) and providing leadership/development to other managers and leading a diverse range of activities through others in a hybrid line management and matrixorganisation
Collaborative, Innovative, Win: Win Attitude
Forward thinking and independent perspectives on Technology and IT leaderships
Evidence of leading and developing strategic solutions and business cases providing measurable business Value (Idea through to Delivery/Measurement)
Experience of defining strategies and influencing the vision of senior leaders.
Experience working in the Biopharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry
SDLC, Agile & Scrum methodologies
